Local Transportation Authority Board
The San Benito County Local Transportation Authority (LTA) administers and operates public transportation services in the County.
The Authority was established in October 1990 through a Joint Powers Agreement to transfer the operation, maintenance and administration of County Express from the City of Hollister to the Local Transportation Authority. County Express provides local Fixed Route service, General Public Dial-a-Ride, ADA Paratransit, and commuter services to the residents of San Benito County.
The Local Transportation Authority Board meets every 3rd Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at 481 4th Street, Hollister, CA 95023 in the Board of Supervisors Chamber. The Public is very much welcome to attend and provide comment at these meetings.
