Bicycle & Pedestrian

The Council of Governments is working to make bicycling and walking an integral part of San Benito County’s transportation landscape.

The goal of the Council of Governments is to develop and maintain a comprehensive regional bikeway and pedestrian system that serves the needs of county residents and visitors. The Council places particular emphasis on promoting the bicycle as a means of transportation and improving the non-motorized transportation network. Excellent weather and flat terrain in San Benito County’s small communities make bicycling and walking a perfect way to travel. Click here to view a current bike lanes map for San Benito County.
